CCNM is committed to providing high quality postgraduate residency experiences for a limited number of qualified graduates from Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) accredited naturopathic medicine programs. The residencies consist of increasingly independent clinical experiences, research opportunities, structured mentoring, and advanced clinically focused curriculum components.
A New Leaf Naturopathic Clinic is a renowned health-care centre located in Langley, British Columbia, dedicated to providing naturopathic health-care solutions to our patients. We are committed to improving the well-being and quality of life for our patients through personalized and integrative approaches. We are currently seeking a passionate naturopathic doctor to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness. You will be mentored by our team of NDs, chiropractors, lab techs, receptionists and LPNs all to work to help you to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Consultations, lab results’ analysis and creating treatment plans
- Participate in grand rounds and other medical meetings
- Support the clinic business by coordinating patient appointments, managing marketing efforts, budgeting, inventory
- Stay updated on the latest developments in naturopathic medicine through continuous education and training.
- Stay abreast of the latest research articles and studies related to naturopathic medicine, integrating evidence-based practices into your treatments
Qualifications
- Licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in BC
- Strong desire to learn clinical, diagnostic and business skills to run a successful practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to learn budgeting and financial management.

The role is a two-year residency program at CCNM. There are three positions available, and the start date is spring 2022. Key features of the residency include:
- Assisting in the clinical training and supervision of interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) and at satellite clinics
- Being a teaching assistant/small group facilitator for selected courses
- Participating on at least one College committee
- Completing an approved research project by the end of each residency year
- Engage in student evaluations including Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)
- Supporting the biannual file audit process for the RSNC
- Develop and maintain a private clinical practice (4 hours/week in the first year)
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean, Curriculum and Residency Program
This residency is a one-year position at the lovely New Westminster, British Columbia campus of CCNM (Boucher Campus). There is one position available, and the start date is September 2023. Key features of the residency include:
- Assisting in the clinical training and supervision of student clinicians at the teaching clinics
- Being mentored by clinical and academic faculty in building competence in naturopathic medicine and naturopathic medical education
- Establish a formal one-on-one mentorship relationship with an experienced faculty member
- Facilitating student learning and professional development as a teaching assistant/small group facilitator to naturopathic students
- Engaging in the CCNM community, such as committee participation
- Completing an approved research project by the end of the residency
- Assessing student competence and ensuring high academic standards
- Developing and maintaining a private clinical practice (4 hours/week)
- Performing other duties as assigned
This position is ideal for a naturopathic medicine graduate who has a specific interest in cancer care and research. The role is a two-year residency program at the Integrative Cancer Clinic (ICC) located within the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine endorsed by American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (ABNO). There is one position available with a spring 2024 start date. Key features of the residency include:
- Assisting in the clinical training and supervision of interns at the CCNM Integrative Cancer Clinic (CCNM ICC)
- Participating in patient care at the CCNM ICC
- Engaging in public educational talks on the topic of naturopathic integrative oncology
- Supervising the patients receiving infusion therapy
- Completing an approved research project
- Oncology rotations at Sunnybrook, Southlake Regional Hospital, and Markham-Stouffville
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director, Integrative Cancer Clinic
- A robust patient consultation schedule (2.5 days per week)
- Managing an IV therapy room (2.5 days per week)
- Ample opportunity to develop proficiency in a variety of injection therapies
- Mentorship with a strong focus on complex case management and follow-up
- Mentorship regarding practice management and post-residency clinical and business success
- Complementary enrollment in Ozone and Oxidative Therapies Certification Course, Naturopathic Injection Therapies Certification Course, Low Dose Immunotherapy Training Course, SIBO Training Course for Clinicians, and Comprehensive Approach to Mitochondrial Dysfunction Training Course
