Digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) are common – IBS affects up to 20% of the world’s population and can have a significant impact on quality of life and societal expenses. Those with IBS suffer many different gut symptoms several times per month including diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain.
