Course description

This 3-hour one-on-one course will expose the students to the clinical assessment and treatment of subluxations/ fixations in the cervical–occipital, upper cervical, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacro-iliac portions of the axial skeleton. Clinical assessment of the subluxation/ fixation complexes will primarily involve the use of motion palpation of these areas, augmented with instruction in static palpation and basic visual assessment techniques. Treatment of the subluxation/ fixation complexes, by high velocity, low amplitude spinal joint manipulative techniques. Indications and contraindications for spinal joint manipulative therapy, and the indications for referral, when needed, will be discussed.

Prerequisites:

This one-on-one course is meant for naturopathic doctors wanting a comprehensive manipulation review, to satisfy CONO requirements, or for students preparing for Ontario Board Exams. The course requires a minimum of 2 participants.

Price:

The course is a combined price $599 for 2-6 participants. Up to 6 participants can be accommodated in the course, however it will be the responsibility of the 1 registrant who registers for the course to cost share with additional participants.

Dr. Ken Dunk, ND, has been in private family practice for over 35 years. As a former chiropractor, his practice focuses on physical medicine with full spine and peripheral joint manipulation.
