Course description

This intensive 2 week course will take place Saturdays & Sundays over two weekends. It will be offered both live at CCNM or via live webinar is designed to build confidence, review relevant content, and provide strategies to prepare naturopathic doctors for the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination.

Participants will benefit from the live class learning environment, the experience of a highly trained clinical pharmacist, who will share her content expertise, experience, and test-taking strategies. The course includes focused sessions on selected topics that will be tested in both the oral and written portion of the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination.

Participants will have an opportunity to write and get feedback on practice multiple choice questions, and discuss individual learning needs with the course instructor.For more information, please visit NDprescribing.com.

  • Identify key concepts and areas for content review that are essential to successful Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination completion
  • Develop increased confidence in exam writing
  • Develop & apply successful test taking strategies

Dr. Jennifer Poh, PharmD - Instructor

<p>Dr. Jennifer Poh graduated from the University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Pharmacy program in 2007. After completing her residency, she worked as a clinical pharmacist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where she presented and published research, as well as acted as a mentor and supervisor to many pharmacy residents and students.</p> <p>During that time, Jennifer completed her post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto in 2013 and was appointed as an adjunct lecturer at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.</p> <p>Currently, she is the clinical director of pharmacy services at a major group purchasing organization and an assessor for the Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination for Ontario naturopathic doctors.</p>
