Course description

CCNM’s IVIT updates course is a live two-day course held at CCNM over one weekend. The course covers the clinical applications of vitamins, minerals and amino acids in the practice of IVIT therapy as set out by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). This course is open to IVIT licensed NDs that are looking to complete their requirements for IVIT credits.

Courseware

Course materials: attendees will receive electronic access to all the courseware through Moodle, CCNM's content management system, on the first day of class.

Lunch

Please make arrangements to bring lunch or visit one of the many options in the area, as lunch will not be provided.

Prerequisite

Participants must be a licensed naturopathic doctors.
INSTRUCTORS/SPEAKERS

Dr. Jill Shainhouse, ND - Instructor

Dr. Shainhouse has 13 years experience as a ND and has been practicing IVIT for the duration of her career. Her private practice in mid-town Toronto is exclusive to oncology. Since becoming IVIT certified in 2004, she has completed a Central Vascular Access course in addition to numerous continuing education programs focused on advanced IVIT. Dr. Shainhouse was involved in the development of the Adjunctive Cancer Care shifts at CCNM. She has presented numerous lectures including Grand Rounds at Sunnybrook, Maintenance of Breast Cancer Remission for Collaborative Education, and presents regularly at Wellspring Cancer Support Centres and Gilda’s Club.
