Human Resources Administrator (Toronto Campus)

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Administrator. Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources, this position works to ensure the proper administrative functioning of the human resources department. Duties include: providing administrative support to the team, maintaining records management systems, providing service to College constituents; coordinating and organizing systems, procedures and processes to ensure the proper documentation of HR systems, coordinating recruitment activities, benefit administration, employee engagement events, on-boarding and off-boarding processes, supporting the health and safety initiative throughout the college, and ensuring we are compliant with current health and safety legislation.

In response to COVID-19, this position is currently remote, but may be occasionally be required to be on-site.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Working towards CHRP designation
  • Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in an HR environment
  • Experience in an educational institution and/or unionized environment
  • Exceptional computer skills in an MS Office environment
  • Highly proficient with various Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Experience in payroll and benefits processing is an asset
  • Extremely organized, with strong attention to detail and superior multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize with good judgment skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with particular emphasis on customer service
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written and typing proficiency
