The Curriculum Visioning 40 (CV40) project continues to make good progress, and now is at a point where more faculty involvement is needed to research, develop recommendations, and participate in crucial conversations about the future curriculum. The following opportunity is available:

General qualification

These posting is for current CCNM faculty who are naturopathic doctors/health care practitioners in good standing.


  • Working with other committee members in both the short- and longer-term to:
    • Prioritize and develop improvements to the current assessment tools and remediation pathways used in the clinical education program (short-term solutions); and
    • Develop a holistic, evidence-based, learner-centred system of assessment and remediation that fosters learning and is effective in providing essential feedback

Qualifications needed:

  • Good understanding of the challenges regarding:
    • The role of a CCNM clinic supervisor in supporting a variety of students in gaining the best clinical experience possible and assessing their learning/readiness for independent practice
    • The preparation of students for the responsibilities of independent patient care, self-regulated professional practice, collaborating with other health-care professionals, and building and maintaining a sustainable and profitable clinical practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to produce high-quality and comprehensive recommendations on a tight timeline.
  • Familiarity with competency-based education and approaches to assessment in health professions education would be an asset.

Hours & compensation:

  • 10 - 12 hours, including meetings
  • Stipend: $500
  • This position has a possibility of renewal
