RD Psychotherapy provides psychotherapy to adults, couples and MVA patients. We are located in a beautiful newly renovated 7000sq ft building with 12 offices including, large boardroom, dining hall, sauna, gym, social room and reception area. We are a multidisciplinary team with other healthcare regulated practitioners.

In order to be considered eligible for an interview, applicants must be registered with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario and be in good standing. You must have completed a 4-year program in naturopathy accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME). Transcripts and academic or professional references may also be requested. A criminal background check will be mandatory. Applicant will be joining a busy multidisciplinary practice where holistic measures are incorporated to better treat a client.


As a staff member, the Naturopathic Doctor (ND) must maintain an understanding and observance of practice policies and procedures. Diversified techniques are an asset and highly recommended for the applicant. The ND will operate in the full scope of taking a whole-body approach to wellness, whether it’s physical, physiological or mental concerns. Prescribing rights are an asset.


The ND is expected to adhere to: (1.0) practice policies; (2.0) specific administrative responsibilities; and (3.0) standards of clinical practice.


1.0 PRACTICE POLICIES

• Report to the Executive Directors

• Provide proficient knowledge, experience, and understanding in areas of expertise

• Adhere to proper protocols and procedures according to standards of the practice

• Abide by all safety precautions and report of any happenings immediately

• Adhere to Practice standards of dress and deportment

• Adhere to standards of promptness, including arrival to work on-time

• Computer software proficiency

• Ability to collaborate with support staff and diverse treatment team

• Demonstrate a potential for professional and business growth

2.0 ADMINISTRATION:
• Ensures personal maintenance of accurate clinical records
• Ability to write and provide accurate clinical reports when applicable
• Act in a professional manner
• Collaborate with support staff and a diverse treatment team to ensure holistic care
• Collaborate with referral sources

3.0 CLINICAL STANDARDS:
• Capable of managing a client case load
• Review psychiatric and/or physical health history if applicable
• Develop treatment plan specific to client needs
• Provide collateral services as needed
• Participate in additional training as required by the Practice
• Ensures all services are delivered to participants in cultural sensitivity manner

3.1 SKILLS AND TRAINING

• You must have completed a 4-year program in naturopathy accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME).
• Registration with the CONO and in good standing
• Must have liability Insurance
• A second language is an asset but not required

3.2 SCHEDULE
• Full time, 40-hour work week, primarily Monday to Friday
