Course description

The OAND and CCNM are partnering to bring you the Taking Care of Business Summit. This 1.5 day summit is business top to bottom, and will teach you how to translate your clinical skills into business, marketing and entrepreneurship. The summit is tailored to students, new grads and veteran practitioners and is a one of a kind event designed to bring naturopathic doctors and other health-care providers to the cutting edge of small business ownership and practice management.

Dr. Elaine Chin, MD: Chief Wellness Officer, Telus - Instructor

Elaine Chin, MD, MBA, is a North American thought leader and recognized expert in personalized medicine which leverages biometric and monitoring technology along with predictive analytics to improve the health and performance of individuals. Dr. Chin is the founder of Innovation Health Group and Executive Health Centre, a premiere personalized medicine practice in Toronto, Canada. She is the Chief Wellness Officer at TELUS Communications. Her primary focus has been to deliver world class wellness programs to Canadians by integrating digital health technology and the science of precision medicine. Dr. Chin also sits on the GTA Community Board at TELUS.

James Burgess - Instructor

Rebecca McKillican, CEO, well.ca - Instructor

Rebecca McKillican joined Well.ca in 2012. Rebecca holds a BA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Western University, and an MBA. from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar. She is a mom to two young children, and is extremely passionate about health and wellness and online shopping. These latter two passions is where her work world collides as CEO of well.ca.
