Vote Joanne Lusted for Toronto's Hottest Chef!

Joanne Lusted, Resident Chef at Clean Eating Magazine, is up for voting in the first round of Toronto's Hottest Chef charity fundraiser, with CCNM as Lusted's benefacting charity of choice. Each vote generates $1 contribution towards the top pick's charity, so cast your vote for Joanne and for CCNM! The first round of voting closes July 11 at 8 p.m.

Joanne Lusted is a friend of the family of the late Robert Kennedy, and will be directing the donation in his honour.

Kennedy was a trailblazer in the fitness industry, starting Musclemag Magazine in 1974. It became one of the premier publications in the fitness industry and helped transform Kennedy from fitness guru to publishing powerhouse. He also expanded the fitness industry to address the needs of women, and was instrumental in shifting focus from diet-oriented content to nutrition, health and fitness. Kennedy's wife, Tosca Reno, author of the Eat Clean Diet books, spoke at CCNM on body image during Women's Health Week this year.

In addition, the Kennedy family is planning to name a RSNC clinic room to honour his memory. An online memorial giving page has been created to take donations and offer supporters a place to express their memories and appreciation of Robert.
