Tuition and Fees

CCNM works to maintain a balance between minimizing the costs of tuition and other services and ensuring a high quality of education and support services. CCNM is a not-for-profit registered charity and does not receive direct financial support from the federal or provincial governments.

ND Program

CCNM's ND program is a post-university professional program requiring a Bachelor's degree for admission. We provide an intensive four-year program that includes more than 1,200 hours of clinical experience and involves more than 3,000 hours of classroom training.

Some medical professionals may be eligible for advanced standing in certain CCNM courses. All advanced standing applications will be reviewed by the registrar who will assess the course(s) to ensure they meet the following criteria:

Admission Requirements for International Students

An applicant will be considered an international student if he or she is not a Canadian citizen or does not have permanent resident or landed immigrant status.

Essential Skills and Abilities Required for the Study of Medicine

CCNM is responsible to society to provide a program of study enabling graduates to possess the knowledge, skills, professional behaviour and attitudes necessary to enter the regulated practice of naturopathic medicine. Graduates must be able to diagnose and manage health problems and provide compassionate primary care to their patients.

Personal Interview

The interview assesses an applicant's ability to successfully complete the program and become an effective doctor of naturopathic medicine. Applicants are chosen for interviews based on their academic performance.
