OVERVIEW
Naturopathic
medicine is a complete and co-ordinated approach to health care.
It is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and
prevention using natural therapies and gentle techniques.
The Canadian College of
Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) offers Canada's only CNME accredited
four-year,
full-time professional program in naturopathic medicine.
Upon completion of the four-year program, graduates receive a
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) diploma, and must pass international
licensing examinations before registration is granted to practise
as a naturopathic doctor.
Doctors of Naturopathic
Medicine are specialists in natural medicine and preventative
health care, integrating scientific knowledge with traditional
healing wisdom. They are health-care professionals who use safe,
gentle, non-invasive therapies including clinical nutrition,
botanical medicine, etc., to assist the whole person in maximizing
the body's inherent self-healing capacity.

SUPPORTING
OUR VISION
CCNM is a not-for-profit
educational institution, relying on tuition, membership and donations
for operating revenue. In 1999, CCNM embarked on an ambitious
Capital Campaign to raise $6 million to purchase and renovate
its new 4.3-acre campus at Sheppard Avenue East and Leslie Street
in the North York region of Toronto. Our heartfelt thanks are
extended to all our donors for their
generous support of this campaign, naturopathic medicine and
CCNM.
