This course is intended for NDs and ND candidates (3rd and 4th year) who are interested in the perinatal field. Learn how to inform, empower and support patients through child-birth. The course will focus on supporting a pregnant and laboring woman and their partners with the use of botanical medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture/acupressure, hydrotherapy, breathing, relaxation, meditation, nutrition, and energy movement. The course will also provide information on naturopathic induction, positioning, birth plans, stages of labour, pros/cons of interventions, and much more. At the end of this training course, you will be fully equipped to attend a live birth, and be confident in the modalities you are using.

Dr. Jessica Sangiuliano is a Naturopathic Doctor and Birth Doula and maintains a busy practice with a specialized focus in Women’s Health and Perinatal Care. Jessica holds a Doctorate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and a BSc. degree in Biopharmaceutical Science with clinical research in Breast Cancer at the Faculty of Medicine (University of Ottawa). Professional certifications include Naturopathic Doula Training, Reiki, and Biolinguistic Kinesiology. Dr. Jessica has trained with Dr. Peter D’Adamo, ND (author of “The Blood Type Diet”), Dr. Ginger Nash, ND, Dr. Paul Epstein, ND, Dr. James Sensenig, ND and Dr. Ameet Aggarwal, ND in Africa. Dr. Jessica sees Doula clients across the GTA and is truly passionate and well-researched around caring for women during the peri-natal period.
