This manual was written to provide some guidance on searching electronic databases and the Internet. It is presented in three sections: Database searching, which introduces the necessary key concepts. Internet searching, which provides some tips for maximizing your Internet searches and also gives some guidelines for evaluating Internet information. Searching Medline on the Internet (Pubmed), which introduces the basics of searching Pubmed.
