The School of Continuing Education (CE) promotes ongoing professional development through the highest standard of teaching and quality evaluation, and endeavors to meet the growing needs of the naturopathic profession and general public through its programs. CCNM's general interest course offerings are designed to provide participants with knowledge for personal use only. Professional development courses do not provide credits or equivalents to the ND program. To register online for these courses, please click the appropriate section on the navigation bar (left, under Continuing Education). If you would like to be added to our email list for up-to-date information on upcoming seminars, courses and workshops, please contact Sasha Tahiliani at continuing_education@ccnm.edu or 416-498-1255 x 255. Practice Management |
CCNM, in partnership with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers and the Canada Post Corporation, has created a protocol for workers who want to alleviate common workplace-related physical health conditions such as low back and shoulder pain, anxiety and stress. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) complete a training program on this protocol in order to provide effective and individualized naturopathic care which uses its guidelines for treatment.
We encourage employees from other organizations to contact their human resources department to find out what kind of health coverage is offered for naturopathic treatments and how to engage trained NDs to deliver a presentation on the protocol. The increased overall physical health and lowered rates of anxiety and stress of Canada Post employees is a prime example of the benefits of including naturopathic medicine in corporate wellness programs. Contact stahiliani@ccnm.edu to find out:
