Planned Giving

As part of your long-term financial planning, planned giving allows you to make a substantial gift to The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) while gaining considerable tax and estate planning benefits.  Planned gifts are generally funded from accumulated resources or assets, rather than income, so your monthly cash flow is unaffected.

There are several ways you can plan to make a gift to CCNM. To discuss any of the giving methods below further, please call the advancement department at 416-498-1255 ext. 226.

Bequests
You can make a gift of cash or property by including CCNM as a beneficiary in your will.

Life Insurance
You can name CCNM as the owner and beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy and the premiums you pay qualify for a tax credit.  A gift of life insurance is separate from your estate and has no effect on its assets.

Endowment Fund
An endowment fund is a donation that is invested and the earnings generated on the principal are used to support CCNM.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Your gift of cash or other property is used to establish a trust.  You receive the income from the trust and a receipt for the remainder.  CCNM receives the remainder after your death.

Donate by fax or mail

One-time Gift
Support naturopathic medicine with a one time gift.

Monthly Giving
Spread your donation throughout the year with our monthly giving program.  Determine the amount you are comfortable giving each month and authorize CCNM to deduct it automatically from your credit card.  You can change the amount or cancel at any time.
