FAQs

We have tried to anticipate your questions. If you need more information, contact us.

1. Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, CCNM is an officially registered charity with the Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency (formerly Revenue Canada) and we issue tax receipts for all qualified donations. In some cases, CCNM will enter into a formal arrangement with a contributor whereby the donation is properly classified as a sponsorship. No tax receipt will be issued to acknowledge sponsorships as the donor does not require a receipt to claim credit on their annual income tax forms.

2 . Are small donations welcome?

We are pleased to accept all contributions to the College. Even small amounts make a difference, every day.  Visit our Support CCNM page to see the many ways that you can give.If you have a special request relating to your gift, we would like to discuss this with you in more detail. Please call the advancement office, at (416) 498-1255 x 226 or e-mail advancement@ccnm.edu.

3. May I direct my donation to a specific need?

Due to the incremental administrative and legal costs associated with directed donations, the College has established a minimum gift amount of $5000 for all restricted gifts. Please contact the advancement office, to discuss your interest in this area in more detail: (416) 498-1255 x 226.

4. Is there a Matching Gift program, and who do I contact about this?

Yes CCNM is pleased to work with companies that support their employees’ charitable contributions through a matching gift program. Please call the advancement office, to discuss how this works:
(416) 498-1255 x 226.

5. Does the College receive any government funding?

No, CCNM is a private, non-profit educational institution and as such, does not qualify for direct provincial or federal funding. We rely on student tuition, and the generosity of our donor community, to keep the College growing and responding to the demands of the Canadian public seeking complementary health-care services.
