Position Summary The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada’s premier institute for education and research in naturopathic medicine and the graduates of its intensive four-year post-graduate medical program are recognized for regulation/licensure in all Canadian and most American jurisdictions in which naturopathic medicine is regulated. CCNM is a registered charity dependent upon tuition, research grants and donations for the fulfillment of its mission. The College occupies an attractive 4.3 acre campus situated at the Sheppard and Leslie subway stop, across from North York General Hospital. Position Summary
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is currently seeking a customer service oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills for the position of Technical Administration Specialist in our Information Systems Department. This position will provide Help Desk point-of contact for both IT and telecom related issues including directing, tracking and follow-up of requests. Additional responsibilities include providing application and database support and training to CCNM staff, students and faculty as required, developing and maintaining all administrative procedures and documentation associated with the operations of the department and generating technical reports.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent post Secondary certificate from an accredited Information Technology program
  • Demonstrated understanding of information technology with respect to hardware, operating systems, applications, licensing, networking, databases, and programming
  • Solid understanding of general application software, especially Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and other general Microsoft Office and database applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external representatives
  • Proven ability to maintain organized information systems for projects and/or department including records management

Please note all IS staff must be prepared to do shift-work on a rotating basis
