Student Services Officer

CCNM is currently seeking a detail oriented, customer service focused individual for the position of Student Services Officer.

Reporting to the Chief Enrolment, Marketing & Communications Officer, this position will be responsible for providing frontline services to students from the time they are prospective applicants to when they graduate from CCNM. With an emphasis on efficiency and customer service, specific responsibilities for this position will include student recruitment, admissions, student support, information management, direction and assistance with financial aid and assisting with student life initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Three or more years experience in a college/university student services environment with previous experience in academic advising an asset
  • Experience with financial aid an asset
  • Highly developed computer literacy Microsoft Office and student information databases
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate, orally and written, with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Professional disposition and exceptional customer service skills an essential part of this position
