Practice Description	Practice Description: Dr. Mubina Jiwa received her designation of Naturopathic Doctor from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has also completed a 2-year residency program following her graduation. She holds also holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Nutritional Sciences and has collaborated on nutrition-related research projects at the University of British Columbia, as well as a community project on childhood obesity with the BC Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jiwa has furthered her educational pursuits which allows her to perform cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture and prescribe chinese herbs and patent medicines. She has taken specialized courses in pregnancy and fertility. Dr. Jiwa has appeared in a two-part series on anti-aging on Global News, as well as on Cosmetic Innovations. She has been in various publications such as NOW magazine and Chatelaine. As a dynamic and outgoing speaker she continually presents lectures and seminars on health and wellness issues. She has worked with several companies to develop wellness programs for their employees. Dr. Jiwa is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy. She is the director of Essence of Health and a faculty member at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
