Share your knowledge and experience with future NDs through preceptorship
Preceptorship offers you a valuable opportunity to teach and share your professional experiences with future NDs, while providing CCNM students with a unique opportunity to learn from a naturopathic doctor. In the preceptorship program, students learn by observation in the practice of a qualified health provider.
CCNM's preceptorship program is mandatory and a core element of the clinical education curriculum of the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program. One hundred preceptorship hours are required for graduation, 50 per cent of which must be completed with a naturopathic doctor. The preceptorship can take place throughout all four years of the ND program.
CCNM encourages naturopathic doctors to contribute to the education of future NDs by joining the preceptor program. This year we are happy to announce that those NDs participating in the preceptor program will be eligible for one CE credit per day to a maximum of five.
For more information about the program please phone 416-498-1255 and ask for
Jasmine Carino (extension 275) or Charlene Dawson (extension 241).
