Self-Care And
Healthy Habits
This dynamic, interactive session introduces Everyday Self-Care,
a holistic and straightforward model for achieving self-care goals.
The model explores four key areas of our life – our physical
surroundings, our emotions & thoughts, our lifestyle habits and our
friends, family & peers. Using this philosophy, we see how the
elements of each area impact how well we take care of ourselves and
how our level of self-care impacts the quality of our experience in
each area. Participants will learn how they may be unintentionally
impairing their self-care effort, and will leave with an action plan
they can apply right away to their own self-care practices.
Upon completion of this course, the
student should be able to:
● Identify their most
crucial self-care goal
● Identify their unique patterns of self-sabotage
● Create a list of daily practices to combat this self-sabotage
pattern
● Integrate these new habits into their life
